Hello from London!

Hi All, I'm Bence, Ben for short, originally from Budapest, Hungary. I'm living and working in London, UK as a software engineer. Cars are my "silent passion" as my colleagues are more into the binary numeric system - I have great dudes here, really.

I recently purchased a '01 BMW E46 325Ci which I want to learn drifting on and the long-term goal is to have fun, compete and improve my driving skills in most ways. I also prefer to do the upgrades myself, although I don't have any garage or place for that unfortunately. There is a DIY garage on the NW side of London but I wouldn't mind finding some autoholics around the SW area.

I have several questions so I'll post them one by one I guess.
 
Hi and welcome, feel free to just add all your questions in one thread if they are general. You might find a lot of them have been answered before unless they are specific to your situation so have a little search.

Lots of people working and using their cars around london so you should eventually find some people locally to knock about with - if not, don't sweat, you'll definitely find some decent people at a drift day, best to just get out there, even as a relative novice.
