Help Rx-8 SR20 swap

I wanted to swap the rotary with an SR20, but I haven't had any luck finding information online about the swap. Posted to see if anyone who successfully accomplished one can give me tips and some info on major problems or easy workarounds. Thanks in advance.

On your place I would take 1JZ or 2JZ and R154. I was doing that swap with my friend, actualy it was ''power tuning project'' with over 800hp on whels. We was do that in 1 day! SR20DET have a habit of snapping cams when abusing them with lots of boost on the rev limiter. 1JZ or 2JZ are musch stronger than SR20DET.

Thanks for the advice. A JZ motor swap does sound nice, but I don't care to have a crazy amount of hp with the RX8. With the 4 cyl sr20, I figured with the minimal added weight and size, balance would be kept to an extent with a modest boost in power. And with the snapping cam issue, I am sure it should be fine as long as I do a modest level of tuning.

Thanks for offering Tinker. I sent you an email. If I could get some details on getting an ecu to work with the dash and engine that would actually be super helpful. Wiring and the ECU were the biggest concern with the swap.
