hey, im dennis, im looking at getting an s13, does anyone know of any drift days close to worcester and are there any requirements to go to them? thanks in advance
You probably want to look at Birmingham wheels ...... I think that's your closet buddy, not sure on requirements but I guess a helmet is standard procedure
thanks for the speedy reply ill defiantly look in to them and ill see about picking up a helmet, probably best to just in case! any idea what days they hold the drift events?
A helmet was a MUST at any drift practice day that ive been to, last one was held like 2 weeks ago and they normally do it once a month and its on Sunday i believe
okay ill be investing in one of those then. so should be early next month then, fingers crossed i should be sorted by then and ill beable to start skidding
Yeah I'd say a helmet is a no brainer
Not 100% sure on what days they are held, you'd have to look them up, also you may want to look at Santa pod DWYB, they have alwayssss got days on, like most Wednesdays n Saturdays I think, pod is good as it's an open area with cones laid out as a track ( really good for learning doughnuts figure of 8's ) then progressing onto the harder track... Where as brummy is an actual oval track I think .... With walls
Sure someone else will be able to shed some more light on things
Hope this helps
that sounds much more ideal to learn on! as knowing my luck i probably would run the wall acouple of times lol. think ill be looking up santa pod now, hopefully they will have one on at the beginning of next month
Yeah, like people have said, a helmet is a requirement almost everywhere. Also, make sure your car isn't leaking any fluids and that the battery is secure, as they sometime check for this.
