I'm completely new to trying to build a drift car going to be on a budget and it's only for fun as drift land is 10 minutes from my house Crail is only an hour away and 20 minutes to knockhill. I have been about cars all my life and done a few years as a mechanic so got some experience also been attending drift events for years but finally in a place where I can justify a toy. I currently have a 2000 e46 328ci that I have started to strip. I know it not favoured but think it will do as a first drifter. Any hints tips or advice on building and setting it up will be grateful. I'm looking at ripping out the full abs system had anyone done this or know of problems I might encounter.
Thanks James

No need really, weld the diff and pull the abs relay/fuse.
Then you'll want a seat so you can steer with your hands and not try to hold on too.

Also get out and learn without a hydro, driftland is wank for ass dragging boring hydro entries.

Give crail a shot first dude, bit more room to spin than driftland and softer things to hit when you do.

Don't touch the handbrake for any entry as it will slow you down and make you look shit. use it to correct your line ;)

have fun!
