Hi there
First post here but have been lurking for some time now, I've been racing motorbikes for 5 years but I'd love to try my hand at 4 wheels. I just wanted to ask a few questions first.
I have a 2002 e46 325 saloon as my daily driver I'm wanting to know how people got round the traction control issues when fitting a welded diff?
I've heard that removing the osr sensor will disable the traction control and not put the car in limp mode. Would it be possible to put a switch in the circuit instead of completely removing the sensor permanently? As id like functioning abs for daily driving.
Also what issues do I need to be aware of when fitting a hydro (later down the line)?
And can anyone recommend a good first drift day for novices? I have done a l2d school day and have caught the bug, I'm based in West Yorkshire so local would be better.
Thank you!
