Hi! Im new here, i bought a volvo 340, i need a harder than oe shocks. And i have the posibility to buy the motor and cables from a volvo 360gle but i think if is better buy some clio o r19, (these motors fit in the gearbox).?? Ahh my 340 is a 90' 1.7 carb with 5 speed

It is a lot of work going 360 - you would need to change the gearbox engine and a lot of little bits.

The renault 16 is easy enough to do or a real budget conversion is the 2ltr 400 series engine. The 400 series engine is direct bolt in.
 
suspension from classicswede above is great the 1.7 engine is enough to drift swap the engine if you want but its not really needed for learning
just get the diff welded strip it out and lower it job done!
 
Jejej the diff was welded the other day, learn is good.. But i have any idea, and 1.7 82cv with 120k milles... I put a k&n replacement filter, i want to clear the carb, but i dont think with it i gain too much hp, i see the people put a 16v renault engine..
 
Ouuuu i think i see the problem... The carb don run good, i read about in v3m and i think that is the base of the carb. They can loose the power trought the base jijijiij:cry:
