hkb boss issues :(

hi i have one of your hkb boss's fits fine, horn works (after working out how to do it) how the hell do u cancell the airbag?? i have 2 connectors left in the box niether fit the airbag plug... both exactly the same, and both are basically a white plug with a wire to a spade connector and a loop of wire in it...

after reading posts on here people say the bit to remove the airbag light should be a resistor... which i cant see either of these being and they are both identicle...

please help,

i would try that if the plug on the end of the bits i have actually fitted the air bag plug but it doesnt...

2 screws holding dial cluster cawling in, 4 Screws holding the cluster in. 2 screws holding the LED in.

its that easy! No light in minutes!

would of also been easier to pay 60 ish quid less for a boss that didnt say "includes air bag cancelling doodar" but i had to be stupid and get the expencive one that came with everything :cry::cry::cry::cry::wack:
 
I have same boss kit, should of come with a white resistor/capacitor. Two metal pins coming out o the bottom of it. These plug into end of loom airbag would of plugged in. Clear?:wack:
Managed to figure mine from jap instructions that came with, hope this helps
 
Not me sorry but id like to know the pinouts so the car thinks the airbag is present, i got the cheaper boss which doesnt include this, anyway sorry, my airbag light flashes all the time, i just want to stop it
 
Sorry Malice, we're still catching up after coming back in the new year. I'm looking into getting a resister for you. We're currently out of stock of the S14 and S15 bosses, so I can't just steal one out of another box for you at the moment.
