HKB Boss Problems

Hi Folks

I got a hkb boss for christmas and went to fit it the other day and all seemed to work fine.

now the airbag light is on again and trying the reset procedure just doesn't seem to work either.

what seems weird to me is when i first fitted it it worked but the first time i turned the wheel to lock something happened, there was a noise from the wheel hub and the light came back on.

also the horn isn't working which may be related, i've checked the fuses etc and all seems ok.

could something have happened that would have blown the resistor?

any help would be appreciated as its starting to get on my tits, all i'm getting extra from this £80 odd boss over my cheap £20 one is the indicators cancelling, getting the airbag light out and the horn working was the main reason behind getting it.

It sounds like it's nothing to do with the HKB Boss, I would say you have put the airbag/horn ring on wrong and turning the wheel has snapped the wires inside it I'm afraid. If it's any consolation I have done it myself before.
 
cheers for the reply phil, i'll strip it down again tomorrow and check it out.

when it happened to you were you able to repair it or did you just get a new clock spring?
