Honda Accord 2.0 16v
138,000 miles
Tax until October
We've owned this car since early 2005 and have used it daily. Unfortunately the MOT has just expired and the car failed the test on some mechanical (non-structural) issues. I've bought what should be all of the parts to fix the car but haven't got the time or money to get it back on the road just now. As we currently don't need the car I'd rather sell it and put the money towards getting a smaller hatchback later in the year.
This car would be ideal for somebody with a little more time or resources to get it back on the road. Would make a great tow car!
Good Points:
Tax until end of October.
Full electrics including sunroof and heated mirrors
Very tidy interior
Very reliable - engine has never let us down in the 4 years we've used it!
Heaters work well.
Tow hitch with full working electrics. Has towed a caravan and small boat effortlessly in the past.
Previous MOT's and receipts from the past 4 years.
Spare wheel, jack and wheelbrace in boot.
MOT Failure Points:
Both front shock absorbers need replacing due to fluid leak, I've bought two replacements which are guaranteed for 4 months.
Nearside rear brake needs attention, again I have a replacement which is also guaranteed.
Parking brake below requirements.
Rear brake bulb required.
Advisories include both front tyres and both CV gaiters.
The car does have a few scratches and marks on the outside, however overall is a straight car. Small patch of rust where it's had a small dent on the back, and a couple of small bubbles near the rear arch. otherwise relatively clean for a car of its age. The interior is in great condition, seats have no rips or tears etc.
If you have any questions or would like any more pictures please feel free to ask.
Thanks.
£200 - May part-ex with something with MOT.
