Use the car some practice days , auto tests and general b road fun. Been looking at HR and TT . Was thinking of ordering the TT with 8/6 springs . For my limited skills and seat time am i going to c the benifits of the HR monotube over the basic HR's. Just on a buject and dont want to spend another £250 on coilovers unless will c a massive difference in the car

You will notice a difference. They are well worth a really small amount of extra spend for the extra performance.
TT's are good, but for ride quality, performance and durability HR's are simply better.
