Made by Compbrake.

The upright version we've found to be a very very high quality piece of kit. It uses a heavy duty upright lever. perfect for hanging off. I dare you to break it :D
Comes with the lever, bracket, mastercylinder, and fittings. Option DW braided lines are available.

Compbrake Hydraulic Handbrake Upright
£90.00 inc VAT

Also we're clearing our stock of the horizontal Version.
Description: A comprehensive kit, good for some heavy duty use.
The only bit we're not overly impressed with is the lever's range. It doesn't have a massive range of travel due to it using a rose joint inside the lever that limits it's travel vertically. It works fine if adjusted correctly though.

The kit includes, the lever, the bracket, the master cylinder, some universal copper lines that may work with your car, but we're not guaranteeing it. You may have to buy our braided handbrake lines.

No idea I'm afraid as we always use DW lines.
If you want to be the guineapig then order the handbrake as normal, and if the lines don't work we'll honour the discount price on the DW lines if you need them :).

What length are the universal lines on the horizontal one Phil? Not sure if there's anywhere practical to put a vertical one in the Rex's?

Each copper pipe is 75cm. It comes with the correct fitting for the handbrake master cylinder on one end, and a compression fitting on the other end, so in theory you just cut the standard line that goes to the back of the car, and put one of these pipes in. All you need is a brake pipe flaring tool.

The upright handbrake will actually go quite far down towards being a horizontal.

I'm glad you are selling CompBrake, I bought one from Mr.Bizzle and they are amazing. Very good quality, plenty of movement, was easy to bleed and make it work from 1st time. Girlfriends are always impressed and comments are transferred away from my gear knob. I will never use horizontal handbrake again.
