Intercooler - New and unused.

I bought an intercooler about 3 weeks ago for my Mini and when it arrived the depth was too much and would have fouled the Alternator and dizzy.

The Dimentions are - 600mm x 300mm x 75mm [ 3" Inlet & Outlet ]

Quick sale would be cool.

£120+post

postage would be no more than £15 i dont think, as thats what i paid. As soon as i know the postage i will post it up.

As for the car, not alot to get excited about yet, as its still being built. Had it on the road for Riviera Run in may.

Currently its as follows

Stage 4 Head, with titanium roller-tip rockers.
1275 (bored to 1340 = +060 thou)
Standard T3 Turbo with full 2" System
GSX600RR Exhaust
Belt Driven 266 Kent Cam
Straight Cut Gearbox with X-pin diff
Final Drive is 2.9
Full Grey Rally Clutch Kit
Nitride & balanced crank

Only running 7psi as its half way through being run in, but once it finished its been designed to run at 10psi. Hypathetically speaking it should produce around 150-160bhp. But the only real way of telling is to hit the rollers.

best thing of all is you wouldnt expect to see any of that under the bonnet of a Mini estate which used to be an 850... :euge:
 
Sounds good mate, if you will only run 10 psi why didnt you sue a t25 or a t28 for spool up time??

well the problem is, with a T2 or T28 if i modify the manifold to take a T2 it ends up upside down. and is difficult to get to work right.

Once ive done this, im tempted to see if i can find someone who will want to buy, or if poss PX for a 200sx, as my next project is going to be an 850 with a T2 mounted on the flywheel housing like janspeed did years back. But 850's with a full balance like revving (ive heard they can withstand 10k once fully balanced&recon'd)

Very nice job!

Ive often considered a turbo, but after messing with a few A series gearboxes.. I just dont trust it. I need the car for daily use, and my 1293 is about as powerfull as id want to go.
 
That looks nice mate, sorry to turn this post into info about your car but I love mini's :D Engine looks sweet too, and I never knew that about the turbos.

my only other mod would be to try and make it RWD then i wouldnt have to consider a different car for drifting. yeah this one used to be 1293 till i lost half the piston into the gearbox whist running 20psi on standard internals due to bleed valve failure.


i managed to get round the gearbox problem by buying a rev counter with a shift light and re-soldering the light to a 12v relay, which in turn was fitted to the electronic valve off the metro turbo, so i can have it jump from 7psi to 10psi anywhere along the rev range.

It isnt too big for a S13 when you`re going FM..... but i`m going V-mount!

Just had the change to measure a s13 under the bonnet.. and 600mm is WAY to large :D

Monarch, it will fit nicely front mounted... I fitted a 600x300x80 IC to a S13 once.. no problem!
