I got this last Christmas, it is engraved but this is on the back and is not visible when the cover is on. Has the usual surface scratches on the back due to the highly polished chrome, no scratches on the front except for a 3mm scuff at the bottom but it works perfectly, only selling because I now have an iPhone.
This is the first iPod Touch but comes with the 2.1 Software Update (that I paid for) which includes the App Store, where you can buy and download games and other applications.
Comes with: Original box, black JVC headphones, USB Cable, 2 silicone skin covers, instructions, plastic stand and docking adapter.
