Ipswich (suffolk) drift day trial 26th October

I am running a trial drift practice day at orwell crossing truckstop in ipswich on the 26th October.

There are limited spaces available so that we can trial a few different track layouts to see what works best.

This means loads of seat time for those on the list aswell as a chance for you to suggest the best track layout.

It will only cost £40 per driver (£20 additional driver) for the whole day with a free food voucher worth £10 to be used in the truckstop restaurant.

All drivers must wear helmets and there will not be any tyre changing
facility at this event but will be at future events.

Track will open at 8am and go until dark.

interesting venue, good luck with it. If you dont get enough drivers let me know and i'll venture down
 
It is at a truckstop, however there is huge amount of space not being used where a McDonalds use to be. We have hired the venue so there will be no trucks parked in our way and there is plenty of space to have a nice track layed out allowing for 2nd gear, possibly 3rd gear at a push. It will be a similar sized track as Norfolk Arena.
 
I really hope this goes well so that there will be future events held here. I would definitely be at this one if my car wasn't currently being repaired :(
 
Yes there will be a few people there that can give you a few pointers.

If all goes well we are looking to hold these every last saturday of the month so there should be plenty more to come.
 
STEVEC200: Yes your google link is correct, we will be using the far left section, with additional room for a pit area.

CHRISRITCHIE: If anyone would like to confirm their place to attend please PM me with their name and car details, no deposit is necessary! However we will accept the PM message as confirmation and commitment that you will be attending, so we ask people to only PM us for a definite space! However if once you have PM'ed us and you later cannot attend for any reason, please let us know ASAP so that we can offer your place to someone else.

Please understand that this is a trial day, with a view to continue this practice day once a month! We have to rely on your guys to help us make this event a success, im sure their will be the odd teething problems to sort out on the 26th and we would really appreciate every bodies understanding and support / co-operation with this. Im sure we are all agreed that a Practice day venue in Suffolk is desperately needed, me and Ray (Rayza123) are working extremely hard to help promote a sport we love and are passionate about!

Their will be NO TYRE CHANGING SERVICES at the 26th October, however we will be including this service in all future practice days at Ipswich. On the day their will be the usual drivers briefing and a form for all drivers / passengers to sign (same as any other drift day)
Toilets are available in the Truck Stop Restaurant, along with your £10 complimentary food voucher which will be given to you when you register in the morning.

The 26th October is a "Limited Numbers" practice day, as we will be changing the track around through out the day so that we can set the track for all future practice days, we will be asking all those attending to give us as much feedback as possible through out the day to ensure a safe and fun environment for us all to enjoy!

This is your chance to come along, have maximum seat time and be apart of helping us shape future Practice days in Ipswich!

Thanks very much for your support with this, would love to see you at Ipswich if possible? Hope your feeling and getting better? Ben and I will aim to run all future Ipswich dates around Norfolk, as not to clash with each other as We both want to be at Norfolk as much as possible!
