Jaguar drifters? Anyone?

After melting cylinder one on my volvo 940 drift car I am on the lookout for a fun different drift car to have a laugh in. I don't want to put thousands in a drift car that has a very real chance of being put into a wall, and the prices of generic drift cars seem to be on the up.

Been looking a lot of jag s types. Loads under 1k, 3.0 v6, 240 bhp, not that heavy, cheap spares and plenty of manuals out there on eBay.

Anyone drift one on here, sure they must be a few?

Interesting topic. Always assumed they were too heavy. Aren't the S types ~1800kg?

S type 3.0 manual from parkers says 1628kg and I bet you could pull an easy 200kg out it. Heavy electric seats, thick carpet, A/C. Even has 0-60 in the 6 second range haha

No personal experience but they're used to be a guy regularly at the Norfolk days in one. Seemed to work well.
