The professional drifting series, D1, is getting more and more competitive as the level of the drivers increase. Nobushige Kumakubo (86 pts.) and Ken Nomura (83 pts.) are the two leading drivers, one of which one will emerge victorious here at Irwindale.

On the other hand, Darren McNamara from Ireland came out of nowhere and got through round 1, Best 16 and WHAT?! Tanner Foust was the only driver who got 100 points in the ualifying, so why is he not in the Best 16?--crashed in the first round!?

It's tough getting a D1 license. The coveted D1 license. The D1 driver search is very challenging under the scrutiny of Judge Tsuchiya. There have been driver searches that netted no licenses in the past. The drivers know they need to give it all they ahve. No guts no glory, straight into the wall!

D1GP New Machines Report

As always, new machines not only get the most attention from fans, but also from competitors. Here 3 new machines showed up for their shake down. MANA-P checks them out and interviews the drivers to find out their secrets.

Just to add to this ----- Any subscription holders copies of the dvd will be sent out tomorrow as I've had a major busy day and might not be able to get all of the orders out today..................

Ah man.....im so excited.....wont be able to watch it til sunday night as im in London all weekend!:(
 
I've seen this an i don't remaber seeing phil in it must watch it again too make sure ... Hell of alot of Darren Mc in it do .....
 
Yup ther is lots of footage of darren and u can see loads of irish there supporting him,but Phil is not in it as far as i remember.
 
My bad, we heard it had all the UK guys qualifying in it but it turns out that isn't the JDM Option it's something else, watched it tonight.

Still has Darren in it though :thumbs:
 
i don't know how it will come across in the English version but when i watched the japanese verison a few months back, i almost cried at the drama.

As a Kumakubo fan (the reason i got into drift) and working personally with Nomuken on a few occasions i really wanted them both to winners at the end of it.

good dvd darren mcnamara does well, tense stuff between kuma and nomuken, pulls on your heart strings :cry: :D , BUY IT :thumbs:
