with one pad, no power supply, couple of games. you need to modify a 9v power supply. I have never bothered so its sold untested

some of the oldest drift games ever made are available on the PC engine

NEC PC Engine - sort of back in the Megadrive ere but only JDM...

as above. vast catalogue of games, mostly scrolling shooting type games and lots of very individual games.

edit:

was considered technologically better than snes and megadrive, also it fits in your pocket. they are getting rare now.

damn ben, that's a bit of kit! if it's still around when i come over next i'm having it! Sod putting a PS2 or x360 in your car. JDM all the way with this in the glovebox! Ways less than a ps2 an all...

if this was the PC Engine GT handheld version id have been interested ;)

The PC engine was also known as the TurboGrafx-16 in other parts of the world and you can get converters cheap to run all the english games too.

theres loads of cheap good games on 'teabay and stuff

Great machine if you're into old school arcade games!

woo PC engine, was collector of consoles for years got one of these and the CD version also :)

Yep def rare and was soo much better than the megadrive back in the day :)

was the ultimate for scolling shooters......Gunhead series rocked

Games size of a credit card just a little thicker... soo cool

P.S did have a GT but the batterys lasted err 5 mins lol

I would have it from you if you had a power supply but looking around I cant get onefor decent cash.

haha yeah i remember having one when they first came out and being really excited to have portable street fighter, but then realising that unless you took 4 sets of spare batteries everywhere with you it wasn't actually very portable at all :smash:

i got rid of all my pc engine stuff about 10 years ago for really cheap, couldve made a killing on ebay now! :(

i had one of those too and sold it for £100 i think i had some driving game (outrun??) and also some devil crash and alien crush pinball thing.

wiped the floor with the gayboys and gaygears etc..
now neo geo's.. are the proper old skool arcade machine..

back on topic but cant you get a transformer to convert the voltage ;)

The PSU is 99% out side of the unit (in the actual power cable) and am pretty sure one of a SNES would work it :)

cool.

snes will work, you need to cut open the cable and splice the neg to the pos and the pos to the neg as the polarity is reversed for some reason.

i am going to take it over to a mates who has a PSU to test it first though, not comfortable selling it untested tbh

its yours if it works at the price above. if it doesnt then i'll make it into a coaster

its so totally JDM, i bought it in super potato in akihabara.

Yeah, ive had a few, with Splatterhouse, R-type etc, not had many games but I did enjoy playing on it, sold it a few years ago for not much more that what you want for yours except mine was boxed etc.

Was cool and mine had bee modified to run out a RGB signal to the TV so the image was extra crisp :)

And with regards to handhelds, the NEO GEO Pocket is pretty cool, esp Turf Masters Golf :)

pc engines boxed fetch £80+ now.

neo geo pocket colour is cool. and getting expensive now! i paid £0.20p for mine.
