Jimmys Jap Parts in Birmingham, AVOID!

My missus and I needed a new radiator for our little Daihatsu HiJet, so we tried various places before we put our details into a spare finder website, with our VRN and vehicle details.

JJP contacted my missus saying they had a 'RECONDITIONED' radiator in stock and could have it to us by Friday, we needed it in a hurry as we had a weekend away planned in the van. My missus asked me to phone them to check it was the right part, so I phoned them, made sure it was for the right year, model and engine size. They confirmed all my questions saying it was a reconditioned unit ready to ship. So my missus ordered it.

I get back on Friday night and this apparent 'RECONDITIONED' unit gets delivered in sh*tty old soggy smelly cardboard, poorly wrapped!

I check it next to our van and it's 30mm too wide and 50mm to tall to fit in the gap, the radiator cap is in the wrong place so it's clearly the wrong shape! So my missus rings them to tell them they've sent the wrong one, and some rather rude chap comes on the phone saying she's ordered the wrong part and its our fault that we've got the wrong part, even after I told them the year, model and engine size! They told us to ship it back at our expense to get a refund which we have now done, only to get a refund minus the shipping that they sent us, when my missus confronted them about the missing shipment payments, saying she'll go to Trading Standards if they don't refund her fully, they laughed at her calling her Darling and being generally rude on the phone!

So now we're £20 out of pocket due to these scamming traders!

Moral of the story, DON'T go to Jimmy's Jap Parts, research what you buy and who you buy from, and don't use these spare finder websites!

After we got the wrong part I done a little googling and found these reviews of the company so any kind of Small Claims Court action would be useless as they'd fold and open up as something different.

Shocking! I'm normally careful who I buy from, but I was away with work, and didn't have time to do any research on them as we needed the part pretty quickly. Never again!

PS, I hope I'm not breaking any DW rules, if so please remove, my only intention is to warn people not to be ripped off by these scamming traders.

That sounds quite fair to me?

The moral of the story is " women , know your limits "

They're a bunch of pricks! Reconditioned radiator? I got one from an MR2 supplier (MR2Ben) and it was like brand new, because it was reconditioned properly, not just taken out another random truck that was fucked!

The moral of the story is our weekend away in our Camper Jet was fucked because of these lying wankers!

If you want good parts, and good customer service, don't go near these cowboys.

pretty obvious from the website they are a 2-bit operation , its shocking , looks like a primary school project

Have just got a call from jimmys about a gearebox for a kia picante £700 after paying over phone I then found this site wow do I feel sick now

The scum - Jimmys Jap Parts - HELPING YOU FIND JAPANESE WITH EASE!!

Thanks for reading.[Jimmy Japs]
Hi I have had a similar experience ordered a 3 door K12 Nissan Micra passenger door from you guessed it Jimmy Japs via 247spares.co.uk. This was back in January they send a door 2 weeks later but it was for the 5 door model. I have called them every week since delivery and they say Yeh we will fix it then nothing o date they ust don't get back to you so I am taking out a complaint with my CC company. To be fair the door received was in good condition but for the wrong car. So I can only assume Jimmy Japs should be avoided at all costs.

if he's ruined your weekend , why don't you return the favour lol?
