Not sure quite how to start this but hey ho.

As some people know me locally in Milton Keynes, I've recently finished my degree and currently hunting for work, but.. as yet after 2 months searching, i've come up trumps :(
If anyone's got any possible jobs in and about the area, I'd be interested and willing to forward a CV for consideration for any engineering based jobs.

Just a brief overview of me is that i'm 27, living in MK and do have a 2:1 BSc in Motorsports Tech, but also spent 3 years out as a maintanance technician on printing machines prior to university.
Versed in CATIA / ProE / Ansys and AutoCAD (though haven't used it in years) and did spend 3 years with the Formula Student team at UH with 2 class wins in 1-200 and a 5th place in Class 1, project being transmission design as i spent a year out at SKF Bearings.
Also handy with a lathe, Vertical milling machines (manual / and some CNC codes) Mig welding and pretty reasonable mechanic.

Still have my own transport and driving licence still

If anyone's got anything, drop me a PM please!

You tried Nissan? only in cranfield and we always seem to be getting new starters. Might be a bit dull/office based though, they only let retards like me do the hands on testing:(

good luck with it mate, ive been having issues and ive been looking for months and months up in suffolk, oxford and southampton and keep not having any luck.

Cheers docwa :D

I'll have a look at Nissan too, but still waiting on ATL Race fuel cells to come back after an interview, despite me pestering them weekly, they've still not said if i've got a job

Good luck mate, i finished my degree in marine engineering/naval arch and composite materials last year, got an absoulutely amazing job that I start on Oct 4th after not one other place got as far as interviewing me.

Its pretty tough out there and if i hadn't of got this I would of still been a shitty waiter at a golf and country club.

I was lucky in that my degree is pretty broad so was able to apply to a variety of grad schemes.
