2010 is going to be an exciting year for Driftworks. We've laid the foundations of some pretty huge steps, that will allow us to transition from a small business to a medium sized business.
Some parts of this new challenge have already happened (e.g. the move to our newly purchased 5500 sq ft building this weekend), some won't happen until late this year.
But for now the next part that needs to happen, so we can continue to provide our highest levels of service to our customers is: To increase the sales team.
So, we're now welcoming applications for the role of junior customer liaison at Driftworks Ltd in Birmingham.

We're looking for someone who:

Enjoys dealing with people
Has previous sales experience
Has a knowledge of Drifting
Has owned and worked on a performance rear wheel drive car.
Is friendly, polite and confident
Is interested in learning.
Is a bit of a wheel whore and has a good understanding of offsets and fitments.
Has a good sense of humour
Can easily commute to Birmingham B11 or doesn't mind moving.
Wants to be part of an exciting team leading the way in a growing market.

We expect a good basic knowledge of car suspension and tuning work, but will be offering training on all our products and technical aspects of their usage.

The role will essentially comprise of:

Answering telephone and email enquiries.
Managing sales communications and group buys on forums.
Managing trade stands at events.

That's the main outline, but as with most stuff we do, there will be a fair variety of other bits thrown into the mix and we'll aim to keep the role fresh and challenging wherever possible.

Salary
This will depend on experience.

To apply

We don't really believe in traditional CV style applications as we have about three academic qualifications between the whole office.
To apply for this position please send an e-mail titled 'Junior customer liason position' with the information below to: james@driftworks.com

What is your current availability? (when could you start?)

Many thanks

Phil, James and the rest of the Driftworks Team.

I though you had had an opportunity like this when you were younger, in the cub scouts with the Arkela who said you were "special" :wack: !!

I can imagine the interview for this, some young driter, sat on Fillings knee, looking up into his big pie sizing up eyes, whilst James checks to see if he is allergic to gingers !!

:D :D

Man Im toast when Firring sees this :D
