I found an 89 firebird on craigslist and apparently my good friend who customizes cars (fabrication etc.) for a living has lifted several of his cars. So I call that friend to see if he knows anything about the firebird and he said it seemed decent and that he had put the green wheels from his magnum onto the firebird at one time. It has stock rims now obviously.
It's a 5.0L V8 but the owner said there was an engine swap by the previous owner (?) Idk but I'll look into that later. It has a really good paint job. It has a few scratches on the right side but I don't really care. I'll take care of the several ghetto-rigged parts and other things I feel are more important and then I might do something about the paint.
The T tops glass are perfect, but they leak a (very) little bit. The driver side needs a new rear rain seal I think and both T tops look like they need a new something. Not sure what to call it. Would you call it a rain seal too?
I was able to talk the guy down from $2K OBO to $800.00. Pretty sure I'm gonna get a custom "ZYGEE" license plate for it
It needs a key thing for the trunk, the alarm system to be hooked up so it actually locks the doors, headliner (literally no headliner in it at all), a compressor cycling pressure switch, a relay or something to let the headlights go down (they only go up, manually put them down). The seats could be better but the driver seat is pretty good and they're all comfortable enough to sit in. There's a few other little things but the motor in this thing pulls hard and I'm ready for some fun
