I’m looking at a manual conversion on my JZX and I’m torn between a R154 conversion or a BMW GS6-53DZ JGA box.
From what I can make out, the BMW box is the relatively cheaper option that can hold power decently well compared to other conversions out there. I know the gearing on the bmw box is quite short but the final drive is pretty close to standard from what I can make out. The r154 conversion is obviously easier to do as it is made for the car, but costs are getting up there now.
I’m just wanting to get people’s opinion on which one is the better option or anything I’ve not considered or overlooked. I've looked at others but the cd009 and the j160 aren’t really looking like good options in my opinion. Any help would be much appreciated.
