So I've had my chaser just over 6 years. Bought it fresh off the boat from Japan unregistered. Actually went to look at an alto for my girlfriend and ended up buying the chaser there and then.

It's a 97 tourer v factory manual. Body wise it was good from far but far from good up close. Was about 10 shades of white. Had a full genuine Final Konnexion body kit, questionable spoiler and volks gtv alloys. Engine and interior wise it was totally standard

So once I got the car home I sent it to mechanic for once over and got the timing belt done. While he had it we fitted up a front mount, fitted few Defi gauges and Apexi power fc and she spun up a healthy 298bhp on his dyno.

I enjoyed it as it was for few months then decided it needed coilovers and new wheels. Fitted a set of Hsd coilovers and xxr 526s.

After going to a few shows and seeing white chasers everywhere I decided a change was in order. Spent months trying to find anyone who would do a full colour change. Eventually found someone who's work I was happy with and then had to decide on a colour. Sampled some reds, blues and green. Ended up settling on audi merlin purple

While the engine was out it got full service and few bits to make it go as good as it looked. Went for borg warner efr 8374 turbo, a set of 850cc injectors, sytec fpr, 45mm turbosmart wastegate and a 350 litre fuel pump.

After that the air flow was too close to the turbo so after coming off throttle it would shut down the car. Unfortunately the power fc was too old school for map sensor. Changed that out for haltech. After everything was fitted up it spun up a healthy 458 wheel at 1bar of boost.

Pretty much has it up to where I am with it now. In process of sourcing a decent 2j block to do a fully built 1.5j
