kaaz diff for 328 bmw?

a mate is looking for a good lsd for his bmw 328.
it´s got an open diff atm and since he does a lot of long journeys and likes to go really fast he´d rather get a proper 1.5 diff than weld the stock unit.

can you offer a plug and play diff for this car?
how much would it set him back and how long would it take to get it?

I think the BMW diffs are over £800 well worth it tho

yep. it´ll probably be the
DBW3010 (1.5 way)
3 Series E36 (93-98) except 318i
for 875gbp.
i´aint sure it´s gonna fit though. that´s why i´m asking

I'm pretty sure that is the correct diff . I will check the data sheet tomorrow to be sure

Well, bmw normaly handle like poo on a locked diff.. so if the guy wants to progress and use the car for daily driving then this is a good option.

I would kill for a proper diff...once you've tried a slipper, there is not turning back

îf he had too much money he wouldnt be driving a 328 he got cheaply...
it´s not only his drift but his everyday/fastroad/mustdrive600kmaweekforwork car.
if you guys know cheaper options let me know!

Yeah the DBW3010 is the correct one for E36 big casing (325, 328) and that is the price unfortunately.

Another option is uprating a stock LSD, but it'll never be as good as a Kaaz and to be honest once you've spent X on a stock lsd, taken it apart, taken it to get uprated, etc etc, you probably may as well have just bought the Kaaz and saved yourself the time and hassle, and you'd have a better diff.

a friend of mine has bought a brand new DREXLER 1,5 way LSD.

he paid about 830,-gbp - they are 1300+ gbp normally

oh btw. i think he should upgrade the diff mount because the standart mount broke twice on my mates car.

my mate always use to say he has the BMW-advantage, and can get cheaper parts and its easier to legalise parts on his car. well i dont think that this is an advantage, upgrade-bits are more expensive than parts for my nissan, and if the track requires more power you can put up the boost... now he is looking for a 325i-turbo swap

you may try obx differentials, very very cheap (less than 400$) but i know thay may broke down also with stock engine
