Just a quick question, Iam pretty sure that the real 500 sil80's made by kids heart for Nissan had "sileighty" on the side glass and the centre rear light section, I've found some pictures of the one Nissan taken to a motor show but the pictures are abit blurry and I can't make it out, can anyone confirm this and is there any of these 500 ones made in the UK? (I know that might be a long short, but just wondering, not to buy, just didn't know if any made it over in the early days on importing)

Any info would be great,
Thanks

seen a few myself in the flesh. some people have used genuine looking stickers on their windows to achieve the same look

Been looking into it and they also had different Ecu map which ran 0.9 bar of boost insted of the 0.5 bar the 180's were set at as stock

Norfy, thanks man, wasn't sure if there was any of the 500 which made it over

Deciding if a car is genuine is a major problem with these things. The only info made available by kids heart as obtained using the way back machine and google translate (brace your self) is the following:

One can only assume a record of vin numbers is kept at kids heart. As far as making it into the Uk, I have seen people claim to have genuine items on the sxoc but given the ease by which one can replicate such a car I wouldn't take anyones but kidheart's word on that.

Interesting side note... The only s-body rarer than these is is genuine manual Autech s15 Varietta of which only 300 are believed to be produced. Including autos full production is said to be 1300.

Caled, thanks for the info mate, I never knew they did them in yellow or midnight purple, bet they look ace!

Regarding the vin numbers like you say kids heart must have a record of which ones they did as I bet there is fakes out there (even with the sileighty stickers etc) the info I found says they were built in 1994? But the picture I found of the white one Nissan taken to a motor show had kouki rear lights fitted, but kouki's were only made between 1996 and 1998, just wanted to put some sort of history together on rear nissans from the 90's

the information posted above suggests that the rear centre garnish has sil80 on it not 180sx.

if you take the rear quarter windows out you can tamper with the 200sx/180sx logos that are on them.

I wonder if the genuine ones had ps13 wiring looms to remove the pop up headlamp wiring or if kinds heart just left it dormant.

was alan green (team green/falken tyre) 180 a genuine sileighty?. i seem to remember reading Steve-o build thread of the car and it turned out to be one of the 500 made
