KPH TO MPH question

Hey, I recently picked up an imported s14, the cluster is still in KPH, is there any way of changing it to read mph without having to put a new face on the clusters or buying a UK cluster, which apparently don't have same connections ive been told, I hear theres a speedo converter which is done when the car is important however it wasnt done on this car and i have no idea what to search for, cheers. :wave:
 
I bought one of these £35, didn't work on my s15, probably due to the different type of speed signal they receive but did work on bro's Teg and should work on S14.
4 wires, power, ground, speed signal in, speed signal out. Easy. If you have the modified signal sent to the ECU you will effectively remove the 112mph speed limiter too. If you have the car remapped then best have the original speed signal sent to the ECU and the speed limiter can be mapped out.

Alternatively, Torque GT sell a good quality more substantial unit for about £60, this is what I ended up using on my S15.

If you want to arse about with diff ratio's and what not then a Dakota unit will let you adjust the signal to suit, think they are about £85 but never used one.
