Land Rover Discovery Rwd

Hello, new to the forums. Wasnt sure where to ask this but here seems decent.

Parents own a 4x4 company with about 15 disco 300tdi's. So spares are free which is good at 18 :p

So looking to get a disco myself. Problem is they only come in permanent 4wd.

Does anyone know of a way to convert them to rwd only?

Reckon a lowered disco drifting with a cloud of black smoke would be differnt to all the s13's.

Discos weigh 2 ton plus, it will be a bit shit to say the least.

Won't be too hard to make RWD though, same as all 4wds I expect, weld centre diff and remove front shafts

You will never in a million, billion years get the wheels spinning with a 300tdi engine I couldn't imagine a worse car to try and skid. But thanks for the mental image where would the we be if not for occasional eccentricity.

Disco 1 you remove the front prop and put the transfer box into diff lock. Disco 2 you will need to weld the centre diff. They will drift but would be totally shit as a dedicated drift car. As above if you're folks run a garage chances are you have access to a trailer to tow a suitable car around.
