Heavy Industries...
Morning lads,

Basically I am after a 3 way (:euge: ) T-peice that goes into the oil pressure switch hole (CA) so I can fit my 2 oily gauges and the original switch without too much faffing. I did buy a LMA one at the weekend, but although the thread was right I think it needs to be pitched on the block end, plus it only has the one Tee hole (really successful purchase that one  :wack: )

Anyhoo, let us know what you may have/can find, failing that I shall have to get off my fat ass scoure the lma catalouge

Cheers

3 way? what do you need to run off the connection? We've got various bits and bobs here that might get you sorted, but why do you need 3 sensors from that point?
I wouldn't put an oil temp one there, especially if you're using an adaptor which will bring it further out from the block as it's not really in the flow of things and won't give an accurate reading....

i would imagine 2 for the guages and one for the pressure sender, get a sandwitch plate, will work better and they come with 2 take offs for guages

I was trying to keep it easy/simple 3-way for oil pressure, oil temp and standard pressure switch, didnt know about the temp thing there though, cant be arsed with tapping into the sump, although its looking more likely :( :euge:

sandwich plate will be needed for the oil cooler, dont really want 2 in there tbh :)

So why don't you get a sandwich plate which has both fittings for the cooler and the guages?

if you want a sandwich plate, you're looking at either thermostatic or one with gauges in. If you want a thermostatic sandwich plate for an oil cooler AND you want to run gauges off a sandwich plate too, you need to stack 2 of them together

Grex do a loverly block for filter relocators which have both in them. although that will then mean you will need to do the whole filter relocation thing...

well the retail price for the whole cooler kit with filter relocation in Japan is about 80,000 yen which is about £400. However I just bought the two blocks (the one which bolts to the engine and the piece the filter sits on) then i had the hoses made locally. The whole thing cost me about £200 i think but that doesn't include the cooler itself.

So it's not a huge about of money, but it's not cheap either.

I'm sure a few people could get you some quotes... get to work james;)

edit: the bits i bought were these...

The hoses cost me about £70 for all 4, but i get them made quite long..

Mmmm... got most of those bits plus £200 (although they do look nice) is getting near to the price of the car :wack:

Either way I need a 2-way T-peice for the oil pressure if nothing else :)

 C'mon boys, its almost like I ask you stuff on here and sxoc to try and confuse you :wack:

On the subject though, do you know of anyone who has doubled up on the gauge adapter and oil cooler dooberry?!

I think Ive got it solved lads, apparantly there is a blanking plug on top of the standard cooler which I can wack an adapter thing into for the oil temp and I can get a flexi hose made up for the pressure

may be worth you guys looking into? will let you know of my progress if you like? :)
