hi,

Thought of buying lexus is200 for drifting, just I am not sure about if I can drift it bare stock, is that possible?
the sport version has lsd from factory, so I will probably will need coilovers, but except from that?

in general what do you think about it?
its cheap price and in Syndey its a lot easier to buy one in comparison with BMW, very hard to find e36 325\328.

thanks.

From experience a welded diff is the way to go mainly thanks to the lack of power, also the LSD is not great. They really need more power to be decent but the chassis handles really well.
I have heyman 600ps knuckles and HSD Monopro coilovers and thats it and it drives really nice. If you were to go more aggressive with lock then you will need extended lower arms and jzx110 tie rod ends. Oh and also it doesnt take much lowering before the front bump stop becomes the upper arm hitting your wheel well, its common to cut the upright and shorten it to avoid this and make sure that upper arm is doing it's job properly.
Front caster helps and getting the rear setup sorted with adjustable all round will help the handling and keeping your speed up to make up for the super weak 1G-FE for a 2L I6 it's really poo.
Seen some put stiffer ARBs on too but I like to use the body roll on mine to make up for lack of power.
