lexus is200 wheel choice

How slammed is ur lexus dude? you have no idea what you want wheel wise?? :S Why not look in the wheels for sale section and see what u can afford to buy? There's LOADS in there!

Im also unsure what you mean by function wheel.. since.. all wheels are functional :S

you could buy a set and just make them fit with spacers and arch work or have a look on the owners forum at builds you like the look of and get wheels in the same sizes

Type lalalalalalalar similar into Google images then use rimtuck.com to check specs etc

yeh by functional i ment like multi purpose cus i know some are a bit shift for drifting and too heavy blah blah lol, does it matter on the width for drifting? and yeh thats cool im trying to drop it to a low enough position i can still drift with it etc! i think its google time! im pretty new to drifting so trying to see what wheel fitment sizes and lowering is best for road and drift :p haha

A functional wheel to me means its round. The "weight" of your wheels really doesnt matter at all when it comes to drifting...

Look on my.is .com for some decent pictures with wheel specs.
I'm running 9.5 et 40 and 8.5et 42 bim zeits on my altezza.
I had 9.5et 30 all round on my last one and the fronts poked out a bit too much.
You can't go lower than et35 on the front with 9.5" wide because the suspension arm touches the inner face of the rim.

IS posted above = HOT!

As said before, its not so much to do with weight, its more so width. If the car is under powered (Which imo a standard IS200 is) then its going to have a harder time to spin the rear wheels up. For example, I noticed a difference in the chaser drifting with the 10's on the back instead of the 9's.. It still drifted, but Its still standard power if you know what I mean.

If I were you, Id hunt around the wheels for sale section and find a set you like, and can afford. Take note of the sizes that pop up often then ask around if those sizes would fit your car. Failing that, test fit some of your mates wheels in similar sizes to see if they fit ok :)

cheers peeps! and ahh i didn't know weight didn't matter in drifting i thought it did in certain cases for agilty blah blah anyway cheers mint!
