I have seen nice Lexus is300 with Supra twin turbo engine 6speed. I wonder is it straight bolt in without modification?

What about diff, propshaft and Driveshaft for Getrag 6speed gearbox?

Have anyone done this and do you have any link with photo guide how to install them?

Cheers

It kinda fits.. But still lots of fabrication to do.. Iv done a fair few 1j's in IS200 and it's not a straight bolt on fit..
The other thing with the 6spd is it doesn't really fit into the tunnel very well.. Hammer is needed..

Thank for posted. i have been told is200 do need lots of work but is300 straight fit in is that correct?

The 300 came with a 2JZ GE so yes, it will fit, but as Dale said, the 6 speed box is a big fucker so you'll need trans tunnel work. And a prop shaft either swapping or making up.

Almost the same amount of work involved regardless of whether you start with a 200 or 300.. About 3% easier with a 300..
Only things that'll carry over from the 300 is engine mounts and sump.. EVERYTHING else is pretty much custom..

However, I don't like where the 300 engine mounts sit the engine, I sit the engine much lower, this involves knowing what mounts to use and modifying the sump pan to fit round the subframe.

Most the work comes in fabricating parts like Intercooler Pipework, Exhaust system.. There's a LOT of work involved with wiring too..

If you are looking for someone to do the work, I'll do it:thumbs:
