Lightened CA18DET Flywheel

Sorry for the delay Greg.
We can get get them, but we need to order quite a few.
We can however specify a weight we'd like them to be. Do you know what kind of weight you'd be looking for?
I know a few guys on the SXOC were interested, so I might see what I can sort out on a group buy basis

I have no idea dude, I guess the lighter the better - you can't go too light can you?

Any idea on a possible price?

Think cusco are the lightest I found. Lighter than the JUN superlightweight ones, anyway. 4kg as opposed to 4.5kg, if I remember correctly.

not nessecarily... it gotta have a bit of weight to it, hence why its called a fly wheel.... if it was too light changing gear normally would be a mare!! :)

Yep.:) A silly light flywheel will make the tickover rough which means you have to increase the idle speed (F1 anyone?:D) plus as Jase said it can make gear changing interesting as the revs drop quicker as well as the more commonly known benefit of making the engine rev quicker.

Phil, trying calling Gary, he knows somewhere that has been doing CA flywheels for ages and they are very good quality.
