Locking collars and bad stock bushings ?

Hi,

i bought your locking collars and i was about to fit them next week. I have one question before i take my subframe off.

My stock bushes are probably totaly fu...ed up. I get alot of noise and movement from subframe. So, will these locking collars work at all ? If it wont do much good i will rather buy poly bushes.

And btw...where did DW poly bushes go ? Are you only selling solid ones now ?
 
Well, it's hard to say, as long as the bush and center peice is still there for it to lock over, I can't really see the bushes being totally wrecked making much difference. They should still be really effective, maybe not quite as effective but they'll still do their job. :)

The polybushes have just been out of stock for a while, they're back in the shop now though. :)
 
i had this problem and fitted collars.... properly locked now!!

but n ow my diff bushes are gone!
 
i fitted these a few days ago and i used to get alot of movement side to side in the rear and since mitch put my locking collars in its been fantastic, no movement and it has stiffened things up big time, even enough to help stop my wheel scrubbing as much on the rear bumper
