Wow....great first post...

If you're going to jump right in with a "For Sale" thread, at least put some effort in.
More details of vehicle for sale, pics on thread creation, price.

And also, goes without saying - No-one buys an AE86 thinking it's FWD:smash:

I just put an ad up on Craigslist. Here is a picture. Asking $2k. Fully drivable, but currently tags are expired.

Got a lot going on and don't have time to hassle with back and forth. Didn't have it ready for a full listing but wanted to see if would be worth adding here. So sorry to trouble and glad you have time to spend bugging random people online. obviously, there was good reason for that.

Im interested, depending on a whole host of details, like history, price, condition, etc.... Pictures?
She runs, but has been sitting a while and has expired tags. Body is mostly straight. I included a pic with damage. Pretty decent for an 1985 car, but would be somewhere between fair and good condition. I just put it up on Craigslist @ $2k.

So...put the effort in first time. You'll gain a lot more from a decent first post and a sale post than you will with some half assed shit.
We are primarily a UK based forum but we do have an increasing worldwide span, so it's always worth holding off until you have the time to do it properly.

If you think I'm bugging you, please feel free to retreat to your safe space.

As I indicated, I was trying to gauge interest and alert an interested community to a potential rare opportunity. So sorry to have offended you in your lofty forum. Oddly, you were the only person who had a problem with my post and that I should be ever so thankful for your sage advice. I don't need to retreat to a safe place as I am perfectly capable of dealing with asshats. Good luck in your solitude~

Dude look at all the other threads in this forum, they're mostly loaded with pictures, have lots of information, price, location and all that. When you make a thread with one sentence with almost no information, people are gonna wonder where the rest of it is.

Everything he said is correct and you decided to take it as negative criticism. If you made a full ad with proper information pretty much none of the people would have commented as you didn't even state what country the car was in.

No need to jump on the defensive straight away instead try taking people's points on-board. Best of luck with the sale.
