Looking for info/advice please.

Morning all,

I've looked into drifting several times over the years but never managed to get started. I've found out about a cheap beater that may get me off the ground.

I may be able to get my hands on a beemer cheap as it's been side swiped. All cosmetic, no structural damage.
It's a 325 with the 3litre diesel lump. I tgink it's around a 2007 but may be newer.

I know diesels were gaining popularity previously but I've not been following the scene for some time now, so are these seen as ok to get started with?

Any thoughts & suggestions welcome.

Wouldn't bother with such a new car as a fist car. Parts will be more expensive when things break.

Find a 36/46 weld the diff and get seat time. Coils and a seat are all that's really needed.
