Looking for Tracks, circuit and runways for hire/rent

hey all, i looking for anysort of circuit, track or runway to hire for the day near london. can anyone help me find some. Im looking for something cheap so i can test my cars, and push them to their limits without having to break the bank. price and locations of places will be much appreciated.

renting track and cheap dont get used in the same sentance ever.

You maybe able to hire an oval cheap but even then your still looking at thousands.
 
Andy Arnott (Bigknob on DW) runs a drift experience day at Bovingdon Airfield near Hemel Hempstead. Send him a PM and ask if he can arrange for you hire it for the day. Recently Universal were filming there for their upcoming Fast and Furious film.

Do you need insurance for private hire? Just one guy hiring the track for his own testing?

I think I'd prefer a normal practice day to having a track to myself. That way you can learn from what other people are doing.
 
I can arrange exclusive use of the M1....you'll need to meet me at junction 4 at a pre-arranged time ..price TBA

Yeah it's good value. I don't think you would need insurance unless you were organising an event there.

Mind you, hire for a half day testing is £80 and a full day is £140 so you could all just book a days testing on the same day. They have never asked/insisted on my MSA licence when up there.

Also I have been up testing with just me and a mate, and my Dad and me, and we have had the whole track to ourselves all day both times, this was midweek though.

You can double drive 1 car all day for £80 each, and have the whole track to yourself if you are lucky.

I'm not sure what the deal is with drifting though, and its not a circuit paticularly suited to it, great track for grip driving.

I posted this more to show that you could hire tracks.
 
Testing organised by the circuit will be covered by the tracks insurance, private track hire will not be unless arranged with the venue in advance
