lower arms

hey mods,

i have a s13 with 18x12 -5 wheels on the back(overfenders) and -3.5 degrees camber to fit wheels.

if i buy rear lower arms can i correct camber at the lower arm rather than buying smaller pansier wheels? if not i have seen guys weld them shorter.

also the front lower arms give you more camber than just the coilover tophats?

Yes you can, but you have to be careful you don't compress the driveshaft to much.

The fronts can also change the camber yes.

how else would i get around that? cutting and shortening driveshaft, welding then balancing?

would it be ok to take around 3 degrees camber out or just trail and error?

It's just trial and error really there's no definate answer. 3 degrees is probably a bit much to expect though.
