Lydden hill on sunday

Made guy
Popped down to watch the bdc.

Have to say, was really impressed how things have changed since last time i went to watch it

Definetly seemed to be more crowds despite the weather, pit lanes actually starting to look a lot more like proper motorsport, and the level of driving definetly seemed better than i remember.

And did anyone else see short shorts man from jdm allstarts in attendance?! who is that guy?!

Just one for thing which may or may not apply to people on here, cunts doing donuts, wanky little drifts on the grass car park at the end of the day... christ guys, have a word with yourselves! cant imagine the staff at lydden were too chuffed with that.

and sack those fucking commentators : p

I went Saturday, couldn't make Sunday. I thought the commentators were too funny.. When the car cut out and round down the hill and they gunned him, I was cracking up.

Seemed a great weekend and lucky with the weather too ! good organisation and some good drifting , apart from the wankers drifting on the grass in the car park and campsite , silver 180 and maroon 3XX BMW , one day somebody is going to hit a tent with people in !!!!

There was a whole posse of Joey Essex's doing the skids on the grass as they left. Clearly everyone was super impressed as they sailed worryingly close to about 40 parked cars.

Also, quote of the day "Dan "fat head" Chapman".

There were the pikey drifting/engine revving squad doing the rounds on the Saturday evening/Sunday morning for those of us who camped.

Some bell end attempting to drift in a silver S13 around parked cars and tents with people in them. Just gives the rest of us a bad name.

Otherwise it was a good start to the season, lots of new drivers and a good atmosphere. Was bloody cold though and pretty crappy centre track for those of us doing media in the rain.

We had some idiot in a white JZX100 drifting on the grass while queueing to leave who nearly used our BMW as a clipping point. Stuff like that really gives drifting a bad name and is probably one of the reasons why tracks are reluctant to host drift events.

Thought the overall level of driving was very good, agree about the commentators though, they make way too many mistakes and it just gets annoying.

Commentators are always crap.

Was there both days and think that the change of judges this year will make a lot of people think. As what we where thinking was good runs in qualifying turned out not to be, so will be good to see that progress this year.

Thought the level in Super Pro was very good, and Jack Shannan, wow just wow, But got some serious skills.
