Ma70 n/a Supra, manual, black, £300ono - reduced price!

Afternoon all, I bought this car as a daily driver, then to drift this year, but now I've formulated a plan to get my e28 back running again and would need to sell this to do it. I might not sell, but if someone makes me an offer then I might be able to sort my shizzle out.

Anyway, car is a 1990 mkiii supra, bog standard with 135k on or thereabouts.

Bought it and just fitted a brand new exxedy standard replacement clutch. Also put 6 months tax on it, so that should be good until about July/August. Mot is until June 9th, probably needs a bit of welding on rear arches to get it through the MOT but for the price of the car with tax+£130 of brand new clutch, a bit of welding is a small price to pay.

New pads come with car, one of which was fitted to avoid the grinding from a worn down pad (this was late friday night so havn't had time to fit the rest of the new mintex pads). Car also comes with rear koni shocks, a momo steering wheel which is very comfy, and a sexual carbon fibre ball gearnob.

Uprated speakers in standard locations on car, but wiring was dodgy so we re-did it all in a rush - should be simple enough to re-do it if you wanted a stereo, or personally just strip all that shit out!!

Standard interior, boot has been stripped, despoilered, bumper reinforcement bars have been painstakingly removed to save 35kgs! Has a couple of spare wheels too but I havn't got them back from the police yet :wack:

The paint job was DIY, could do with another coat and then a polish, but it was done to avoid attention from the popo since the previous white paint was known to the police around here already lol.

Car runs/drives great, ABS works fine, needs new handbrake shoes, all sexual. The engine is great, really smooth and the first engine I've ever owned that doesn't overheat/rattle/knock/squeek etc lol. 200bhp of 7m-GE powaaaar, running through a standard mechanical LSD which half works, or works great with repeated clutch kicks, unfortunately I couldn't show that at eurodrift as I only sneaked one go in before I realised clutching it really helps lock the rear.

Can't think what else to say really, everything works inside etc all gauges work (another first for me! hahaha).

Make me an offer near to £400 and there you go, will need to sort out an e28 first but I have a potential avenue already on ebay.

Oh yeah, car comes with a number of spares including gauge cluster, PAS pump, and a funky rage back box :smash:

Just made 500 mile round trip, including a drift, to eurodrift round 1 this weekend without fault, and reached 145mph too! :)

I'll get some pics if there is interest, and if anybody snapped it at eurodrift on Saturday :)

Never ramped or rallied

Cant take the heat of a Jap car then Mikey? :p

It's either spend money on this yoke, or get a running e28 and have my baby back again :D I cba to swap drift cars mid-season so just wanna try and get an e28 sorted now to swap bits over onto.

My point in saying your quoted statement, was that it never missed a beat and can take the abuse well! It might not be as fast as Colonel K's super-senator, but it's got plenty of go go powars to smoke out Norfolk Arena (a lot of which from the inside wheel though).

PRICE DROP. Fuck it, give me £300 and you can have it. I'm losing money at that and I'll give you some free tyres with it too!

Behold the beast..............

Cheers chunk, beat me to it! Race number will be removed but you can keep the eurodrift livery if you want lol.

Had some interest already, if you're serious you're more than welcome to come and see it, car's in Derby but will most likely be in Nuneaton area this weekend.

If things were different no way would I sell it, 200bhp car with this potential is pretty fucking good for 300 notes if you ask me. Especially with fresh 6mnths tax and brand new clutch (so no worries about kicking the SHIT out of it).

3rd gear street in the dry is no problem, as I confirmed last night :) And the suspension/diff work well for super fast roundabout entries - they make you VERY confident with a good predictable swing around on the arse end, most of my cars have been murdered with a welder so having one that goes into smooth oversteer is very special for me :wack:

Rust is on the inner arches, could plate it up alright but I can't be arsed as I just want to get my e28 driving!

If you can weld, then it can be done easy enough in an afternoon. Mainly just the driver's side arch with a little on the passenger side. The sills seem fine. Don't know where you're from but you're welcome to come and have a look and haggle with me if you want lol.

I know I know, but I love the e28 and want it baaaaad!!! Even if the Supra makes much more sense on paper.

Actually an S-body or R-body makes more sense on paper.

Out the box the Supra is probably a better choice for the track, and there is more stuff available for it, but if you get on better with the way the E28 drives/handles you should definitely use that. Its more important to be happy with the car you are driving than what should work best on the track.

Although I sthink its going to handle like ass with all those bits of jag coilover bodged onto it ;)

would love to visit except im in brighton, so any journey up your way would have to be to buy. but i wanna see more pictures before trekking 200 miles. more detail, rust shots, sill shots, engine shots, general shots etc. even at this price i'd like to know a little more about it before forking out even just for the petrol/train up there.

Charlay dude just buy it. £300 doesnt get you a lot of car does it, and this is as close to 'a lot of car' as you'll ever ever get for that money. Just get on a train

Since you are interested, I will go and grab a camera off my good buddy Harriet and get some more piccies for you. Seriously though, this is a LOT of a car for £300. 200bhp, MOT and FRESH tax, rear konis, NEW CLUTCH, spare PAS pump/other bits, electric bolster/lumbar etc.

I can still understand though, so I will get a camera tonight and get some pictures up.

Spacers? What kinda gay boy you think I am!! In-The-Arch-Anti-Cool-Anti-Flush rebellion yo!? :wack:
