MA70, Potential Drifter?

Well I've driven an N/A MA70 3.0 and it was superb, the 2.5 TT would be fan dabby dozy for drifting I reckon.

However it was a while ago when I drove the MA70, and perhaps if I drove it now I'd think slightly less highly of it, I dunno.
 
You must have driven your housemates 2.5 James, what do you reckon to them?

Is only a 2 litre twin turbo. It's got the 1G-GTE engine. Nowhere near as good as the 1JZ! The 1JZ -GTE is the absolutely daddy of an engine. It's loads better than a Skyline GTS engine, and some would say as good as an RB26 as long as you're not after 600bhp +! If I had the cash spare I would get that car, fit a better diff, stiffen up the suspension and drift the sh1t out of it! No point stripping it I reckon. It's got weight, but it's also got power. Don't fuck about with stripping if you've got mega power.
 
Bollocks, I wish I could afford it then. :( I really like MA70s anyway and if the engine really is that good.. Waa, Waaa, toys out of the pram.

I'd still strip the hell out of it, I reckon you can save loads of weight in a Supra by stripping it.
 
Get it! getitgetitgetitgetitgetit!!! The 1JZ is the best sounding engine known to man! That's an incredible opportunity! I've always thought about getting a white one, stripping it out, put something like a T78 in it, white Enkei, making it super stiff and using it for a hardcore gripper. I will one day, too!

One thing though, if you do get it, don't try and put a bodykit on it, every one I've ever seen looks crud :(
 
I know like, one or two, just because I looked around Toyota websites a lot when considering a Supra drift car.
 
Sorry i just put MA70 cause thats what most of them over here were. It does look like a pretty cool car though, i'm surprised more people over here don't drift Supras as theres quite alot of them about and they are cheap(ish). I like seeing big cars drift, they seem more dramatic.
 
Get the black one in the pics :thumbs:
Fit a few red l.e.d.s in the grill an get a camp onboard computer and hey presto "Shiterider" :D
 
Paz if I had the cash their would be a fight for it its got the pimpness and would make and excelent pick up conversion.

Oh yeah if it was pink

When it gets tatty or I crash it. If it has a front ender it'll be a pink Trueno.
