Making your own turbo manifold

This is not DIY but more like HNTDIY

Its ok for a total throw it together no idea project. I get its not going to be the best, and will probe fail, but I kinda like these things where people just throw stuff together!
 
How are people suprised or think its really bad.

N/A manifolds have been modified for turbo use for decades, always have, always will.

Some are commonly used even at 1500bhp+

Not saying it won't work but

Grinding away the third bolt hole on the compressor housing flange because it hits the engine...and then still having it hit the engine...
 
Its very simple, and if the welds are good, very effective. It looks ghetto and may not work as well as a properly designed tubular, but results are the proof of the method...

I've done it before. It works. Nothing more to say.
 
If it's done well no reason it wont work effectively. These guys are the douchers that slammed a ls400 by taking the springs out and replacing them with hockey pucks. Comfort slams.
