Maxxis British Drift Championship Norfolk Arena Summer Spectacle!!

BDC

BDC FTW!
Ladies and gents

After the fantastic event that was round 4 of the Maxxis British Drift Championship it’s time to have even more fun!

Our annual visit to Norfolk Arena at Kings Lynn isn’t part of the drivers’ championship this year but is part of the Team/Constructors championship. Only the Arena creates the atmosphere felt in 2009 with the crowd and drivers so close to each other and the action!

The event will take place over 3 days, Friday 6th/Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th August 2010.

Friday will see open practice for everyone, Saturday will see a standalone competition with the highlight of the day being a top 32 final under the flood lights of the arena

Sunday will then see the annual Triple Drift Team Competition, 3 drivers from each team out on track together MSC style with door on door action.

This year with the driving standards getting higher and higher, the challenge for Team Green Falken to retain their crown is going to be hard work. Alan Green, Matt Carter and last but not least Paul (Polo) Cheshire gave the perfect demonstration of how it should be done last year.

Skyline Owners Drift Team lead the championship standings this year but can they extend their lead or will another team take away valuable points in the championship?

Championship Points Tables

Team Teyaki are all in good form, Team Green Tagalongs, Team Scream are doing very well, you can never forget the 2 Japspeed teams, Mint tyres with an in form Belinda, Wayne Keeber and Steve Whitbread, the list goes on and on.

It’s going to be a weekend for everyone!

Due to this not being a round of the drivers’ championship we can now announce that this event is open to ANY driver whose car is built to BDC regulations BDC rules and regs

So, what are you waiting for, now is the chance to see if you have what it takes against the drivers in the BDC.

If you aren’t in a team, start sending text messages, pms, emails and get yourself a team together!

The cost of the event is £100 for the whole weekend! We don’t need to tell you how cheap that works’ out per day!

If you wish to take part in the event please email bdc@live.co.uk and we will forward you the relivant information.

BDC licence holders you will be receiving and email will payment details. If you do not receive an email please let us know.

im sure ill be there... not been to anything like this so be an experience.

you will enjoy:thumbs: you can see everything thats going on ( on track that is) from raised terracing and the grandstands, the owners of norfolk arena have spent a lot of time and effort with on going upgrades, the facility's are some of the best in the country for this type of venue, bars, cafe, drinks machines and burger vans all around the stadium, the toilet blocks are well looked after and the staff ALL work there because they want to,
The last visit from the BDC drivers also shows that a technical track is just as exciting to drive as it is to watch,
The norfolk arena drift team will be there :thumbs:helping out:nod:
