Hi all,
I'm looking to sell my white mk1 original BBR Turbo J reg - 1991. At the moment it's running a megasquirt ECU but I have a box of the original BBR bits should you want to put it back to it's original setup. Done about 110k miles.
I'm located near Colchester in Essex - CO5.
I've got no idea how much the BBR's make but they've surely gotta be worth more than a standard turbo, not just because there was only a limited number (200) produced but because the insurance is dirt cheap and all insurance companies insure them as if they're a standard 1.6 without a turbo as the turbo is factory fitted (Don't ask me why?)
Pics and a video below - they make it look far worse than it actually is, it's actually pretty tidy so don't be put off - I'm available for viewings so come along and see it!

Internal: External:
Good bits:
- New turbo installed a few months ago as the old one blew its seals.
- New water pump and cam belt fitted
- Mazdaspeed bucket seats.
- Viscous LSD which is still working fine and locking nicely.
- I have a box of all the original BBR bits (ecu, intake, MAF etc).
- Hard top with heated rear screen
- Cusco Coilovers and I believe front and back cross braces too.
- Remote central locking
- Megasquirt fitted and running very well.
- Boost button installed which can increase boost to whatever you set it to in megasquirt at the touch of a button.
- Garage Vary style plastic splitter
- Rota Grid V's 15x7 with very good Toyo Proxes and all but one in good condition with no curbing (I think one of the wheels has some slight curbing but that is all - otherwise vgc.
- Brand new Bosch EV21 injectors
- Unmarked Mohair soft top
- Twin hoop style bar
- Body in general is very solid as is the chassis - no rust on the chassis and very very little on the body - generally a very tidy car.
- Nice (albeit, big) Jackson Racing dual exit exhaust that sounds lovely.
- HID kit
- Garage Vary replica splitter
- I have a coolant re-route but not fitted
- I also have a P5 Chassis rail kit which is also not fitted.
- Baileys dump valve
MOT until 25 Nov 2014
Tax until 01 05 2014
Various paperwork from previous owner (previously looked after by Autolink and set up by Skuzzle)
Bad bits:
- Very small bit of rust on the front right arch at the top and some scuff marks in the clearcoat on this wing.
- Paint has come off in a small patch about 5x5cm on the top of the rear wing, no rust and looks like plastic/undercoat is present (will provide pictures when I get the chance of these bad spots).
- Standard 1.6 clutch so would need uprating if you want to run high boost all the time.
That's about it - any questions; feel free to ask away.
I'm after a 3 series beemer but I'm willing to listen to any p/x offers.
No real idea on the price as you don't see many BBR's come up often, with that in mind I'm more than willing to listen to offers from anyone. It's set up ready to drift, making a lot of power and is a tidy good looking car.
Very open to offers around £2500?
Cheers, Josh.
