Hi,
I'm looking for some help with my mx5 turbo build. i have read around on the internet and i'm keen on running a Garrett 2560R. my end goal is around 250 WHP. i have though about a 1.8 swap with the same turbo. Also consider running a t28 however this is a lot more power than i'm looking for and just dose not seem worth it.
i have been looking at the flyin' miata stage 2 turbo kit but these are very expensive bough new and i have considered secondhand but don't really know if this is a smart idea.
can anyone help me out on a build or give me some pointers on what i should be looking for if their is a better way to reach my HP goal.
I have currently installed:
HSD Monopro Coils (7kg,6kg)
Exedy stage 2 Racing clutch
Titanium Flywheel
EBC yellow stuff pads with EBC vented discs
Racing beat exhaust
Note: I am not expecting 250 WHP straight of the ramp. and i understand i will potentially need forged engine components to reach this goal. i'm just looking for a build that will give me this capability.
Thanks in advance,
Josh
