miller war chip/ ecu bmw?

Has anyone on here turbo'd there e36 ? or running after market managment! as i am a little stuck on what to run to get my supercharged e36 mapped!

After reading the war chip write up it says its for bosh ecu's and my car is on a 1995 and has a siemans ecu!

Someone must be running something? thought there was a few turbo'd 36s around?

War chip is for the E30 is it not? Bosch motronic ecu's.

Are you going to map it yourself?

I've got the WAR chip for mine but its obviously not complete. In an ideal world i'd run Syvecs

or anything other than a bastard chip. Can't be far off the price of a proper ecu anyway?

lets not confuse the WAR chip as a stage 1 chip you get, this is fully writeable and just as customisable as a standalone ECU but 1/4 the price

shame you still gotta use a MAF, how far does the m50/52 maf go? m3 maf plug and play?

i do LOVE the fact that the WAR can hold 4 diffrent maps! (nitrous? anit-lag? etc etc)

Standard MAF will max out so maybe a V8 or Porsche MAF could work.

Yeah thats what sold it for me as well the switchable maps. Reminds me of Cobb

tbf, i dont even bother looking up info about turbo bmw's here, i get everything from bimmerforums. ive got pretty much everything i want to know in my head, onyl thing im not sure about are injectors

So this will support obd1 which is good as mine is a 1995! but by the looks of it, it wont support siemans ecu! great!

surely it wont support yours "r32 gtr" as yours is obd2 ?

yea depending on OBD it works or not. im going for a stand alone, ditch the MAF, etc

(i dont even have the car yet haha, but collecting parts and info allready xD)

Here's another option if you want to convert back to a Bosch ecu Midnight Tuning Solutions OBD1 DIY BMW Live Tuning Kit - M42club.com - Home of the BMW E30/E36 318i/iS . I've been looking for my turbo project and think I'm going to get an Emerald ecu. By the time you have fannied around getting an old bosch loom ecu and sensors as well as buying what ever chip thing you want to make it work it'd cost more than a proper ecu.
