Getting a bit bored of fwdriveyness. Dont get me wrong, its fun and fast. but just wondered if there is much interest for it out and about.
Its not finished by far, but everything is just fibreglass/bodywork. Mechanically its fine (and reliable for a 30yr old mini)
Built in july 1979, and first registered in April 1980. It originally started life as a 1100cc clubman estate, went the turbo route and after that i finally decided to go 16v.
Body
Clubman estate shell with rear windows replaced with alloy panelling

There is likely more i need to add.
The mini is far from perfect. There needs welding done in a couple places, nothing major but i will take pics of it all. It needs painting to finish off. As i have nothing to hide because im not actually fussed if i keep it.
Im not sure what the power is at the moment. It was mapped my Mark Shillabear before as a 1.6 and he got 140hp out of it, giving 118 at the wheels. I intend to cam it before i get it mapped again, so i cant see 160-170hp being too much of an issue with the right tweaks. I've seen plenty get around this power WITHOUT itb's.
