Now I've got my new car, this is up for sale:
Toyota MR2 Mk2
2 litre 16v
1997 P reg
101k miles
PAS
Central locking/ Alarm
Electric windows
Removable sunroof
CD stereo - small subs as standard behind seats
Stainless exhaust
Polybushed
Fairly new front discs and uprated pads
Decent Falken tyres, plenty of tread left
I've had a new radiator fitted and black mesh fitted in the front bumper to protect it as the last one got stone chipped.
Cambelt done very recently and oil and filter done at the same time.
It is a cat c, hence the price, but this should not put you off at all. This car really has been looked after and is the reason I bought it as it was evident the previous owner had maintained it very well. The paint is awesome even after 13 years - a really deep metallic green
The only thing it needed for repair was a rear bumper and the corner of one of the rear tail-lights. This has been done professionally to a very high standard.
It drives absolutely fantastic and drives like a car of much lesser mileage. The handling is very tight and precise, i'd never owned an MR2 before and I would go as far as to say it is the best handling car I've owned. Extremely capable on the twisties and fairly nippy on the straights. Pretty economical too, I get approx 30-35mpg on average.
This is a really great daily car and very comfortable to eat up the miles on long journeys. Extremely tidy throughout!
Taxed until October and MOTd until November '10.
I'm after £1750.
