Standard 1.6 engine at 205k'km (about 126k miles)
Imported in 2000
MOT until March 2018
Bought the car with no history at all so all paperwork is since ownership
Came with mk 2 seats and vinyl roof with glass window.
After a thorough inspection, it only appears to have minor surface rust just under the door kicks.
The car runs fine and has started every time.
Since ownership I've done the following;
Angel eye headlights - sidelights redirected
Cambelt and waterpump (188km)
Fan belt
Thermostat including housing and gasket
Camshaft oil seal
Reconditioned alternator (basically brand new)
Fast 5 alloy radiator
Half the coolant pipes replaced (never got round to fitting the rest)
New brake discs and pads all round
Oil and filter changed at 194k
Replaced boot shift lever
Temperature sensor fan switch
Drift works steering wheel
Lockwood speedo dials in MPH
Rattlecanned Cousteau blue
Moss TSI'a (indicator only, sidelights are in main headlight)
Rewired the headunit and put in brand new pioneer speakers and pioneer headunit.
Cobalt exhaust - middle and back
Replaced gear gaiter
Jap style ducktail spoiler (no longer sells these)
Undersealed in december
New rear calipers
Bad points:
The boot lock is fiddly at times and will sometimes not want to open.
Passenger side seatbelt is a bit of a pain to clip in properly sometimes (have replacement clips but never got round to it)
Drivers side seat is worn from age related wear and tear
Previous owner redirected the radiator fan to a manual on/off switch. (This may not be a bad point for some)
Headlight needs retractor relay
2 small holes in the roof that don't leak but one can be slightly noisy when driving.
