Sold for £1400 - no seriously it did.
Not a drift car, but it may appeal to some.
For sale is my friends beloved Mk 1 Caddy, 1.6 petrol with 5-speed box.
110,00 miles
Long Tax
MOT till April
I bought this truck to replace my Polo and have used it daily since.
When I bought it I gave it a good service and replaced a few parts that were looking past it to keep the car totally reliable, the full list is:
Gaz stiffer shocks, lowering springs & top-mounts up front.
New std rear shocks
New rear brake compensator
4 New tyres on Golf steels
Decent set of MkII Golf seats inside
JVC Stereo with fli Coaxial speakers mounted in carpeted boxs, nicely out of the way tucked behind you.
New door cards
Smaller mk2 gti steering wheel with chrome push button horn
Brighter Xenon headlight bulbs
New dizzy cap and arm
Replacement distributor with new points and condenser and the timing setup.
Fresh oil, oil filter and air filter
Coolant flush.
The front bumper has been removed, and indicators hidden behind grill. The rear bumper has also been removed, there is a truckman style top that can be included in the sale.
The car has previously lead a life at Cambridge Uni as a work truck and is now my daily drive as it still retains a solid body and mechanicals, however the bodywork is somewhat ratty.
Underneath the car is completely solid, there are no repair or patches nor is there any needed.
The car has several dents, scratches and chips all over, there is also some areas of surface rust on the body, the largest on the front wing and door - fortunately both panels are readily available and simple to replace.
There is 1 big dent in the front passenger wing, other than that the rest are small dings, that add to the overall ratty look of the truck.
It has Tax and MOT, and I'm sure will sail through the next one.
Unfortunately I have to sell my caddy, as i need a car with more seats, this will be very missed.
£1300
Would consider a swap for mk4 golf Tdi
Car is located in Hardwick, just outside of Cambridge.
