More lock on mk4 supra

Hey guys, just an update in my quest to make my car a little more competitive sideways. Last week I decided to tackle the supra's steering lock (or lack thereof). I've searched a couple places online and I've only found 1 pic giving an indicator of what can be done. I redrilled the steering knuckle arm closer to the axis of rotation (will take pics when i can). I went 1 1/2" inward. If I had to do it again I wouldn't have gone so far, perhaps 1" or even less and installed the steering rack spacers. Reason being is that even though now I'm getting a lot more lock, the new steering ratio has bumped up the effort needed to turn the wheel. However it doesn't throw you off, nor bind.
But i'll be damned if it didn't make me feel like superman at a drift competition we had this weekend. I've never thrown my car that hard into the corner and felt it settle, always had to check the rear with the handbrake or else i'd spin.

Cheers

Bit late to the party, but you don't need any of that stuff. My car has cut down knuckles and that's pretty much it.
As for the effort, disable your PPSR and bump up the line pressure out of the pump a bit. Only a little or you'll boil the fluid.
It will still be heavy-ish at rest, but unless you're 5' 2" and 50kg soaking wet you'll be fine.
